Diane is the PGA Head Golf Professional at Renwood since 1983. She was named Golf Facility Manager of the Year by the Illinois Park and Recreation Association, the first time the award was given.

Formerly an LPGA apprentice, Diane was inducted into the PGA in 1981. That same year, she was U.S. Open Midwest Region low qualifier, and she played in the U.S. Women's Open in Sacramento California. After playing on the first girls' golf team at Libertyville High School, she went on to earn a letter in golf all four years at the University of Illinois. She won the Midwest Regionals and state collegiate tournaments, and represented U of I in the NCAA championships. Diane earned an MBA with honors in 1987 from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.

Diane was the first woman admitted into the PGA in Illinois and one of the first in the nation. She has trained with world-renowned teachers including Carl Lohren, Dave Pelz, Johnny Revolta, Mike Hebron and local legend Joe Sisolak, both on her own and through PGA teaching programs. “The swing is over so quickly that it’s not always productive to make corrections during it. So her focus is on setup and swing start, to ensure that posture, grip, and alignment are correct before the swing begins, “When the swing starts correctly, it can evolve naturally.” her favorite book on the sport is “One Move to Better Golf,” written by my personal golf instructor, mentor and friend, PGA professional Carl Lohren.
