Button # 750a 'WARMAN,INSIGNIA'
Patch from Feversham Golf Club It is not definate yet, but this could be a Feversham Golf Club
button. We are still researching the button and if anyone has
additional information, it would be appreciated.
The club mascot is a pheasant. The club was established in 1902 and in 1911 moved to its present
home in Belmont Park which was the property and home of Lord Harris who was also “Chief” of the Band of
Brothers Cricket Club. Lord Harris was one of the most influential and despotic characters in cricket in
the early to mid 20th century. He captained England at cricket and was still playing for Kent at the age
of 60ish. His influence is still felt at Lords (the home of the MCC) and at the St Lawrence ground in
Canterbury. It all ties in rather neatly doesn’t it!!!
