BIRMINGHAM' Description Monifieth Golf Links - The club was Founded in 1858, Monifieth Golf Club, is not only the oldest existing club at Monifieth but also one of the oldest clubs in Scotland. In the early years the members had no clubhouse so meetings and social functions were held in local halls. As membership numbers increased the need for a clubhouse became essential and in March 1907 the first clubhouse was opened.
