Button # 481 Image submitted by Dixon Pickup Button # 481a Back of Button Description Long Ashton Golf Club - The club was founded in 1893 in the village of Long Ashton three miles south of Bristol. The attractive silver award example (21.5mm) is marked Birmingham 1903 (V&S). Slightly convex, the obverse has the full Club title around the edge and the central reserve showing a dimpled ground and bearing a fine depiction of an ash tree in full leaf.
