Description

Royal Portrush Golf Club - ANT-030 - Founded in 1888 as the County Golf Club' (9 holes extended to 18 in 1889). In 1892 re-named the Royal County Golf Club with HRH The Duke of York (later King George V) as Patron. Situated at Dunluce Road, Portrush, Co. Antrim. A flat, copper gilt reefer jacket/dress coat button (19.5mm). The engraved design shows the post.

1888-1892 - County Golf Club - ANT-027
1892-1895 - Changed name to Royal County Golf Club - ANT-029
1895 - Changed name to Royal Portrush Golf Club - ANT-030
